DESCRIPTION:Families and educators of young children play a vital role in shaping the future—but they’re often overlooked as voters. This workshop will explore why voting in every election matters\, review resources for making informed voting decisions and discuss strategies to encourage civic engagement among staff and families. The session will be presented in English with live Spanish interpretation\, and ECE professionals can receive 1 PQAS hour. \nEspañol: \nLas familias y los educadores de los niños pequeños juegan un papel vital en formar el futuro – pero como votantes\, suelen ser pasados por alto. En este taller\, se explora porque es importante votar en cada elección\, se revisa recursos para tomar decisiones informadas y hablar sobre estrategias para desarrollar participación cívica entre los empleados y las familias.
