Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Family Scholarships
First Up is excited to announce that we have full-tuition preschool scholarship funding for families of young children experiencing financial hardships, especially due to COVID-19. STAR 3 and 4 providers, if you know of families who are unable to send their children to preschool due to a loss of jobs, income, or being on a subsidy waiting list, you may be eligible to receive EITC Pre-K scholarship funding to support those families. Click here to apply or email Tyrone Scott if you have additional questions.
For Businesses Interested in the EITC Program
The EITC program allows Pennsylvania businesses to exchange donations to preschool programs for PA state tax credits. For contributions to Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organizations, a business may receive a tax credit equaling up to 100 percent of the first $10,000 contributed and up to 90 percent of the remaining amount contributed up to a maximum credit of $200,000 annually. For additional information or to participate in this program, click here or email Tyrone Scott.
